The echoes of the last chords of this year’s holiday music have just faded away, and the Carmen Psycholar Neamt Culture and Arts Center is once again inviting the music-loving audience to a musical event. Today, July 12, 2022, in the “Calistrat Hogaş” hall of the Neam County Council, from 19:00, in an extraordinary concert, beloved soprano Anda-Louise Bogza, of the Prague National Theater and respected pianist Mihaela Spiridon will perform.
The program contains compositions by composers Jorge Enescu, Manuel de Falla, Maurice Ravel, Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini, Antonin Dvorak, Robert Schumann, Franz Schubert, Nicolae Brittany. The name of a universal echo, Anda Luiz Pogza, soloist of the National Theater in Prague, is the hero of a brilliant career, the artist sings on famous theaters in Europe, Asia and America. His performances with the roles of Aida, Leonora, Abigail, Rusalka, Manon, Turandot, at the Vienna State Opera, Hamburg, Leipzig, Budapest, Frankfurt, Deutsche Oper Berlin, a new Israeli opera Tel Aviv or Tokyo achieved notable success.
He played the role of Tosca at the prestigious “Maggio Musicale Fiorentino” festival, in the Munich State Opera (leader of the orchestra Zubin Mehta), in “Semberoper Dresden” (conductor F. Luisi), in the “Arena di Verona”, Rome opera house, “Teatro de la maestranza of Seville”, “Volksupper Vienna”, National Theaters in Bratislava, Bordeaux, Royal Theaters in Brussels and Copenhagen. She won the “Thalia” award for her role as Minnie in Puccini’s “FarWest Girl”.
She won first prize and audience prize at the Vienna International Singing Competition. He made symphonic vocal creations in famous halls, such as: “Musikverein Vienna”, “Festspielhaus Salzburg”, “Royal Albert Hall” London, “Bruckmerhaus Linz”, “Liederhalle Stuttgart” and the grandstands in Madrid, Dublin, Bucharest Radio Hall, Suntory Hall Tokyo, Taipei. Anda-Louise Bogza made CDs edited by “Arte Nova Classics” (Leonora from “The Troubadour”), areas of Italian works – CD image, “Decca” (Rosina / P. Haas). He made TV recordings: “Rusalka” / Dvorák, CD Lieduri.
Mihaela Spiridon is a graduate of the “Cyprien Borombiscu” conservatory in Bucharest, majoring in piano and a doctorate in musical performance. As a rich and experienced pianist, she gives concerts, solo and chamber concerts with well-known names in the European performing arts, and is often called upon to hold various master courses or prestigious European competitions.
Among them are the international piano competition “Citta di Canto”, the international singing competition “Umberto Giordani” and the international violin competitions “Viotti”, “Rodolfo Lipizzer” and “George Enescu”. Founder and founder of the international piano competition “Karl Czerny”, of the international violin competition “Ion Voeko”, he is a member of various juries, and as artistic director, he coordinates the program of the international festival “Musical Holidays in Piatra Neam”.
He shows a keen interest in mentoring young musicians, his pupils winning important national and international competitions, and graduates or students of music universities in Romania, Greece, Germany, Norway, Great Britain, France, Switzerland and Italy. He is Associate Professor at the Georges Dima National Academy of Music in Cluj-Napoca – Stretch of Piatra Neamt and a frequent collaborator with the Michael Jura Orchestra in Bacau.
