The corporate partner quality of CNR UNESCO is awarded exclusively by the Romanian National Commission for UNESCO to public institutions that share the values and ideals of UNESCO and are committed to actively promoting them. This type of partnership is obtained through competition and is valid for three years. Exceptionally, the 2022 appointment cycle has limited the number of appointments to two for each of the eight macro-development areas, in the case of public institutions coordinated by county councils.
The preamble to the UNESCO Constitution sets out the ideal of the Organization: “When wars begin in the minds of men, the minds of men must be built to defend peace.” Thus, UNESCO contributes to peacebuilding, poverty eradication, sustainable development and intercultural dialogue through education, science, culture, communication and information, and MNArT, through its cultural activism, embraces and shares these values.
