Argeş County Center for Culture and Arts became, at the beginning of August, a partner of the Romanian National Commission for UNESCO, thanks to the activity of the Pitesti Folk School of Arts and Crafts in support of the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage. Now he will be able to organize events under the CNR UNESCO logo, because the Argeş County Center for Culture and Arts, the institution under his tutelage, has received the status of partner in the Romanian National Commission for UNESCO, precisely because of these activities carried out in support of the preservation and promotion of the Romanian intangible cultural heritage .

“The title of UNESCO Partner CNR is an affirmation of the fact that the activity carried out by the Argeş County Center for Culture and Arts is closely related to the UNESCO agenda at the national and international levels. I must mention that the CJCA submitted the nomination file a few weeks after the establishment of the institution, and the eligibility requirements were met due to the activity of Pitesti Folk School of Arts and Crafts.
