Happening … A new version of the Comedy Festival “Constantin Tănase” kicks off on Sunday, September 11, at Civic Square in Vaslui. Opening will take place at 2:00 pm, in the multimedia hall of the “Ștefan cel Mare” Provincial Museum, where the exhibition “International Caricature Salon” will be opened. At 3:30 pm, in the museum courtyard, residents of Vaslui will be able to visit the open-air documentary photo exhibition “Valentin Silvestro – A Life in the Service of Roman Theatrical Art”. The event will then move to Civic Square, where there will be a theatrical costume show, as well as an artistic moment supported by the “Masca” theater actors. “There will be 8 days of performances for all age groups. The House of Culture with two halls (Great Hall and Studio Hall “Valentin Silvestro”), Civic Center and Independence Square (Secu) are the main venues for the 27th edition of the Festival of Humor,” said Lucien Onkyo, Director of the District Center for the Promotion and Conservation On Vaslui folk traditions. This year’s version of the “Constantin Tănase” festival includes several events taking place in Independence Square, known among young people as “Secu”. On the second day, from the same time, there will be a stand-up comedy show performed by Bobby Domitras, Gabriel Domitrio and Petrich Istock. On the third day, from 9:00 in the evening, Independence Square will host an improvisational show in which Vaslui’s representative, Vlad Goulciano will also participate, and on the fourth day, a concert by the band “apinarii”. On September 15, the last event will be held in Piata Independentei. It is a performance of the theater “Matei Vișniec” Suceava – “Cats”. The festival continues, however, on September 16, 17 and 18. This year’s edition also offers a dedicated children’s show. It will take place on September 16, at the Civic Center, and will be supported by Gasca Zurli, Magi Tot and Crina Zvobodă.

The representatives of the National Theater “Mihai Emenscu” Chisinau will open the eight evenings of theater. They will go up on the stage of the House of Culture “Constantin Tonas” with the song “Carnavalol” by El Carragil. According to the organizers, tickets and subscriptions, valid for performances in the large hall of the House of Culture, were put up for sale at the box office of the Summer Theater. “Price for entry in the Great Hall – 250 lei / 6 days (September 11-16). Performances will take place on September 17 and 18 in the Civic Center and admission is free. Also, for performances in the studio hall “Valentin Silvestru” and Independence Square (Secu), Entry is free, within the limits of available seats. Valid offers for them will be written on the subscription. Between August 29 and 31, only subscriptions will be sold. In order to allow as many people as possible to purchase a subscription, no more than four subscriptions / buyer will be sold.
