Meeting with Dumitru Konstantin Dolkan and Mircea Baniciu at the Alba Transilvana C`Arte Fair. Thursday schedule

On the second day of the Alba Transilvana C`Arte Fair, the thirteenth edition, in Alba Iulia, Dumitru Konstantin Dolkan was brought to the attention of the public.

He will hold a conference (The Future of Humanity from a Scientific Perspective) and launch the book (The Intelligence of Matter).

Mircea Baniciu will also hold a concert in the grounds of the National Museum of the Federation.

In the first part of the day, starting at 10.00, the little ones are expected to be, between the Museum and Union Hall, in the creative workshops specially set up for them by the Alba Provincial Library team “Lucian Blaga”: Bibliovaliza, English 4 Kids, Smart Baby Basket and drawings on glass.

The book’s editions will be split between Creator Publishing House and Ars Longa Publishing, each with its own authors, with two special moments in between:

Poetry in the Forefront – Poetry Symposium supported by Claudia Mutia, Adrian Lisinciuk, Laurentio Ciprien Tudor and Traditional Romania – Traditional Banner Sewing Workshop, coordinated by Anna Kuzma Serdian.

Starting at 5:00 pm, Dumitru Konstantin Dolkan will give a lecture on “The Future of Humanity in a Scientific Perspective”, and on this occasion he will also launch the Material Intelligence volume, the anniversary edition in Romanian, English and French.

Who is Konstantin Dolkan?

Konstantin Dolkan (born November 6, 1938, Margia, Arges) was Head of the Department of Neurology at the Central Military Hospital (1992-2005) and Head of the Department of Neurology and Neuropsychology at the University of Bucharest (Tito Maiuriscu) (2005-2016).

He received his Doctor of Medicine (1962) and Doctor of Medical Sciences (1976).

He has emerged by participating in courses, documentaries and conferences in Beijing, Rome, Berlin, Paris, Marseille, Geneva, Istanbul, Vienna, Minneapolis, London, Toronto, Sydney, Bangkok, Madrid, Lisbon, Florence, Moscow, Rhodes, Nice and Geneva.

In the evening, in the courtyard of the National Union Museum, Mircea Panicio sings.

The organizers of the Alba Transilvana C`Arte Fair, Thirteenth Edition, are the Alba County Council and the Alba County Library “Lucian Blaga”, together with the partners:

The Alba Iulia Town Hall, the National Museum of the Alba Iulia Union, the Alba Iulia Puppet Theatre, the Alba-Hunidwara Branch of the Romanian Writers Union and the Alba Iulia Children’s Palace.

Attention, until Friday, September 16, 2022, the Alba County Library “Lucien Plaga” office will be closed due to book lending, and activity with the public will resume on Monday, September 19, 2022.

The exhibition C`Arte Alba Transilvana, 13th edition, 14-17 September 2022, takes place in Alba Iulia, between the Museum and Sala Unirii.
